What Are Balloon Sizer Boxes?
Not every “balloon box” is a gift wrap box. Balloon sizer boxes are useful to balloon-makers and planners who want to ensure that a balloon’s diameter is the right size. The sizers usually have a bunch of oval- or round-shaped holes on them, and these are used to check sizes when making balloon arches, garlands, and other displays. If you are planning on making balloon arrangements, you may need to purchase a sizer box.

Cardboard

Design Features That Matter
Some design features speak louder than others when it comes to the functional use of a balloon box at the point of sale or installation.
Finger holes on the top of some boxes allow the balloon arrangement to be carried more comfortably without pressing the balloon on the sides, which is much more important since they burst from pressure much faster.
Cotton or satin handles add class to the box while providing an additional carrying option, along with the top holes for fingers.
Embossing is the process by which one’s logo or design is raised on a box surface so it can be read and felt, whereas debossing does the reverse and puts the design lower than the rest of the box surface.
Lighting spaces. Some boxes are designed to offer enough room for additional lighting and can be used either indoors or at night.
The Sizes Of Balloons
Balloons come in a variety of sizes, and getting the right box size is much more relevant than one may think for first-time balloon box orders.
4 to 5-inch balloons: This size is usually used for making letters, numbers, and smaller bouquet arrangements, and as such, is too small to be used on its own.
9 to 12-inch balloons: These are the most common balloons of all, usually used for making standard balloon arrangements, arches, and bouquets.
16-inch and larger balloons: Balloons in this size category are used as decorative accents placed one in the center of larger explosion boxes.
Confetti and marble balloons: As a rule of thumb, always remember that confetti balloons and marble balloons need to be placed in bigger boxes, as their unique mechanism inside might interfere with the opening mechanism of the explosion box.
